Mindful Craftsmanship is dedicated to promoting ethical and sustainable living through the arts, empowering artisans to create with integrity and connect deeply with their communities.

Our vision is to cultivate a world where craftsmanship is celebrated, artists thrive, and communities embrace mindful and ethical living for a more sustainable future.

This September, join us at The Gallery at 26 Lillie Road, SW6, for Mindful Craftsmanship, a month-long pop-up event featuring four talented artists and makers, curated and organised by the renowned jewellery designer, Bea Jareno. By bringing together a diverse group of UK artists and makers, the pop-up shop aims to foster community engagement and support local economies, creating a better future for the Earth and its people.

As the founder of Mindful Craftsmanship, Bea Jareno has spent over 20 years creating one-of-a- kind jewellery pieces from recycled silver and gold, with an unwavering commitment to ethical craftsmanship and sustainability. Bea Jareno's jewellery is distinguished by its unique design, meticulous attention to detail, and the use of high-quality ethical gemstones. Through Mindful Craftsmanship, Bea aims to support her practice and those of other talented artists, fostering a community of creators who share her values of honesty, integrity, and respect.

With extensive experience participating in top UK craft shows, Bea recognises the importance of adapting to modern times. She believes that collaborations and pop-up shops represent the future for artisans, offering an opportunity for artists to retain 100% of their sales with no commissions. This approach not only fosters greater financial abundance for artists but also empowers them to connect directly with their audiences in meaningful ways.

Mindful Craftsmanship emphasises living in a slow, sustainable, and ethical way. The participating artists share Bea Jareno’s ethos, and she will personally oversee the exhibition setup to ensure a cohesive and beautiful display of their work.

Tabitha Bargh

Tabitha Bargh is a Brighton-based product designer exploring the strength, limits and beauty of everyday materials. With her practice founded in 2006, Tabitha is driven by simplicity, shape, technicality, pattern and purity; to elevate the mundane into objects of elegant design. Her craft and conscientious creativity is layered with sustainability and style, bringing warmth and wonder to interiors. Combining her admiration for humble materials such as cardboard, paper and plastic with a devotion to design purity and laser sharp precision, she offers the mundane a second life.

Philip Gay - Timber Robot Studio

Timber Robot was founded by Philip Gay in 2022. After a background as a propmaker, working on films such as Star Wars - Rogue One and Mission Impossible: Fallout, he retrained in fine woodwork. Philip produces limited editions of furniture and objects by hand with a focus on making impactful pieces. Often using contrasting timbers and textures and mixing materials, his work explores themes of duality, tactility and balance, sitting in the overlap between art, design and craft. As a sponsor, you will have the opportunity to be featured in our "Mindful Living" events, which include workshops, "In Conversation" sessions, and special gatherings for influencers, stylists, and the local community in Earls Court, Fulham, West Brompton, and South Kensington. Our event panels will include life/work coaches, yoga and meditation teachers, slow fashion stylists, artists, and other creatives who align with the principles of mindful and ethical living. We are also creating exclusive goodie bags for our special events, where your brand can be prominently featured.

We welcome any ideas from food and drink sponsors on how we can further support and highlight your brand throughout the event.
